The new Street Racing Interdiction Task Force (SRIT) will consist of officers from LSPD, BCSO, and the San Andreas State Police. The task force will operate primarily during nighttime hours when illegal racing is most prevalent.

  • Second offense: $10,000 fine, 6-month license suspension
  • Third offense: Vehicle impoundment, 1-year license revocation

Chief Johnson's Statement

"We've seen a 40% increase in street racing incidents this year alone. These activities put innocent lives at risk. We will not tolerate it."
