New Hospital Wing Opens at Ocean Medical Center

Ocean Medical Center celebrates the grand opening of its state-of-the-art emergency wing, featuring the latest in medical technology.
New Wing Features
- 50 additional emergency beds
- State-of-the-art trauma center
- Dedicated pediatric emergency unit
- Advanced imaging center with MRI and CT
- Helicopter landing pad for critical patients
Director's Comments
Hospital Director Amanda Chen cut the ribbon at yesterday's ceremony. "This expansion will allow us to serve twice as many emergency patients. Our response times will be cut in half."
Community Impact
The new wing has created 200 new healthcare jobs in the community. Applications are being accepted for nurses, technicians, and support staff.
Emergency services will begin operating from the new wing starting next Monday.
