SADOT Ramps Up Parking Enforcement Downtown

By Marcus Chen

The San Andreas Department of Transportation has deployed additional enforcement officers to crack down on unpaid parking violations in the downtown area.

Enforcement Initiative

Starting this week, SADOT has doubled the number of parking enforcement officers patrolling downtown Los Santos. Vehicles with three or more unpaid parking tickets will be booted immediately.

What Vehicle Owners Should Know

  • Boot removal fee: $350
  • Vehicles left booted for 72+ hours will be towed
  • Tow and impound fees can exceed $500
  • All outstanding tickets must be paid before boot removal

Why The Crackdown

"We have over $2 million in unpaid parking fines on the books," said SADOT Director Frank Morrison. "These scofflaws are taking advantage of the system while law-abiding citizens struggle to find parking."

How To Check Your Status

Residents can check for outstanding violations at any SADOT office or through the City of Los Santos website. Payment plans are available for those facing financial hardship.

Areas Most Affected

  • Downtown Los Santos
  • Vinewood Boulevard
  • Del Perro Pier
  • Vespucci Beach boardwalk

SADOT advises all vehicle owners to review their parking history and settle any outstanding fines to avoid enforcement action.
