The Roxwood Police Department handles law enforcement within the town limits of Roxwood. From traffic patrol to criminal investigations, RWPD is the first line of defense for our downtown and residential areas.

Serving since 1881, the RCSD is responsible for patrols, warrants, maintaining the county jail, and assisting municipal agencies throughout Roxwood County.

Roxwood County Operations
The San Andreas Park Rangers maintain a significant presence in Roxwood County, operating from the Roxwood Marina station. Rangers have full law enforcement authority within state parks, forests, wildlife reserves, and surrounding waters.
While RWPD and RCSD handle urban and rural policing respectively, Rangers focus on conservation enforcement, search and rescue operations, and protecting the natural resources that make Roxwood County unique.
